When you work at home you will find yourself often glued to your desk, sitting for hours at a time. Walking to your desk, or rolling over and grabbing your electronic device to get work done is not the most physical activity you can get.

In order to make certain that you always maintain a peek level of productivity, it’s vital that you get some sort of exercise. Exercise is very important in order to stay focused.

Remember you are working YOUR business, there are NO sick days allowed. Your business and your family depend on you to get pro-active about your health!

You know what to do.  Stop avoiding it.  You must EXERCISE!!!

I make my workout part of my work schedule. Many people avoid getting in their exercise thinking its not fun or boring.  That is not true.  Your reason for doing it, your approach, and knowing the possible outcomes should motivate you to make it fun.

Several of my clients say “I HATE the thought of working out, but I absolutely LOVE having worked out.” That’s KEY. Do it even when you don’t want to.

The ends justifies your desire. I look at my results and that is what solely drives me to keep on doing it. Now I am actually to the point where I just do it.  New routines, develop habits, and good habits develop great results and self improvement.

Making it apart of your work schedule help a lot. Plan a meeting with yourself 3 to 4 days a week to get fit. Yes, regularly schedule it as a work task that you must do, just like all other tasks. When you schedule it, so more than penciling it in, set yourself a reminder as well.

Now everyone has their own idea of what exercise, or exercise program, works best for them. Some people go for walks, others jog and others go to the gym. I work out at my local gym or in the comfort of my living room. If working out is hard for you to do I suggest you start with at home workouts as well.

When operating a home-based business, your time is everything. Working out from home saves you loads of time, by not having to pack-up and get out of the house, drive to a gym, wait your turn for apparatus, shower, change clothes, etc. It just makes sense for people who work-at-home.

Whatever you do, just get off your caboose and start moving!
