After meeting with with a new friend, fellow Wellness Coach I realized how many people see us in action but don’t have a clue what we do. As I reflect on other discussions I’ve have with women entrepreneurs the first half of the year, I had an aha moment; many of my potential clients feel they are too busy to ask what I do, or how I can assist them, and they choose to forget about it. So, if you’re unclear what I do as a Healthy Lifestyle Specialist (coach), you’re not alone!
I will began by saying it is very important to know your specific goals because many Coaches have specialties. You want to be sure you’re investing in the coach that will be able to assist you best.
Here’s what we can offer you to better your health:
The personal attention you need and deserve. Coaches provide a safe place for you to work through your concerns and struggles and receive personalized guidance and support to help you reach your health goals. Sometimes all you need is to talk things through with someone who will listen, and suddenly things become clear in your mind, and in your heart.
Guidance & Support. Working with a coach will allow you to learn from someone who is committed to their own health journey, and has learned a lot along the way. You will receive with the information and direction you need to discover what is right for YOU.
Holistic approach. Successfully living healthy is more than eating healthier to nourish us. It’s important to know what foods to eat for your body, but there are so many ways to feed ourselves aside from the physical. Heart-centered relationships, energizing physical activity, a meaningful career, and empowering spirituality. It doesn’t matter how many smoothies you drink, if you feel unbalanced, you’ll be more likely to fill the void with unhealthy food or destructive behaviors.
Bio individuality. The concept of bio-individuality is that we are ALL different in how our bodies respond to everything from food to exercise to the environment in which you live and work. If a program doesn’t reasonably work within the parameters of your lifestyle, it won’t be sustainable. Knowing this is what birthed my company name. I’m going to help you find the way to Get Fit and Stay Fit Too by factoring in the other important factors in your life – work life, spiritual life, and relationships.
Accountability. We all know what we should be doing. It’s often easier said than done. As your coach I’ll hold you accountable for your actions and keep you aligned with your goals. I’ll show you, and provide guidance and support, but it’ll be your job to take action and and take charge of your life.
Self Care – Learn to listen to your body. Deep down our bodies know what we need, but we don’t listen as often as we should. We never forget to breathe, are our heart never skips a beat. As we work together, I will help you reconnect with your internal wisdom so you’ll be able to listen when your body tells you what it needs, instead of letting your cravings take over.
Lifelong skills. Working with me will be an incredibly empowering experience, but it doesn’t stop there. When you complete my program, you will have learned how to become your own health coach. You will have the knowledge, the resources, and the skills to make empowered decisions regarding your own health, and the health of your loved ones. I’m all about helping you, help you, and others. I want you to help make a positive impact on the world around you.
